The 6th Annual Elastos Cyber Republic DAO Elections has officially begun on May 1st at block height 1,941,249. This marks the start of an important democratic process within our ecosystem, with voting set to continue until block height 1,962,849, approximately May 31st. The community is now invited to participate in this vital governance event that will shape the future direction of theElastos Cyber Republic DAO.
Following the conclusion of voting, a transition period will immediately commence at block height 1,962,850 and continue until block height 1,972,929, with the new Council officially taking office around June 14th. During both the current election period and the upcoming transition phase, the CR Council cannot promote any Suggestions to Proposals to maintain election integrity. Community members are therefore advised to submit Suggestions after the transition period concludes.
All candidates participating in this election must deposit 5,000 ELA to register, demonstrating their commitment to the ecosystem. Once elected, each of the 12 Council members will be required to set up and operate their own Supernode as part of their governance responsibilities. The elected Council will serve for approximately one year, representing 262,800 main chain blocks, and will play a crucial role in guiding the Elastos community forward.
