The Elastos Foundation has appointed Dr. Jay Zou as Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. In this role, he will direct all technical operations. He will also guide the launch of Elastos’ Bitcoin-backed stablecoin, which leverages zero-knowledge proofs.
Dr. Zou recently spoke at the 2025 Crypto AI Summit, representing Elastos on the global stage. With more than twenty years in internet software development, he blends deep expertise in Web 3 and GenAI business models. He also excels in blockchain protocols and AI-driven agent networks.
Moreover, his academic path spans three continents. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Drexel University, earned a Ph.D. from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, and holds a master’s in computer science from Cleveland State University.
As CTO, Dr. Zou will craft the technical roadmap, drive development, and strengthen community engagement. Because he understands both Eastern and Western cultures, he can bridge teams worldwide. His perspective will accelerate collaboration across the Elastos ecosystem.
