Term 7 Election Results: Welcoming the Next Elastos DAO Council

The Term 7 Elastos DAO Council elections have concluded.

Twelve community members have been elected to serve the DAO through the next term, from mid-June 2026 to mid-June 2027. This Council will help guide the DAO Treasury, review funded proposals, support the next phase of the World Computer work, and operate the infrastructure that keeps Elastos governance active on-chain.

Incoming Term 7 Council

Congratulations to each elected member, and thank you to every candidate who put their name forward this cycle. A strong candidate list is a good sign for the DAO. It shows that people are still willing to take responsibility, run nodes, review proposals, and help shape the next year of Elastos.

Thank you to the voters

To every ELA holder who voted, thank you.

DAO elections only matter when people show up. Term 7 was chosen by a community that understands its role in governance. Each vote helped decide who will steward the Treasury, approve or reject funding requests, and represent the community’s priorities over the next twelve months.

That participation matters beyond the result itself. It shows that Elastos governance is still active, still watched, and still shaped by the people holding and staking ELA.

What the Council will do next

The new term begins around block 2,235,730.

Over the next year, the Term 7 Council will be responsible for reviewing proposals, voting on Treasury spending, and helping decide how DAO resources are used. This includes the next stage of work around the World Computer, including PC2, Runtime, dDRM, Carrier, and the wider Elastos stack.

Each councillor is also expected to operate a node and support the infrastructure behind Elastos governance. These nodes are part of the system that helps keep the Elastos main chain and side chains active. The main chain remains secured through Bitcoin merge-mining.

A new year for Elastos DAO

Term 7 begins at an important moment.

Elastos is moving from separate ecosystem workstreams toward one clearer system: blockchain, Runtime, Personal Cloud Compute, and Carrier. The DAO Council will have a role in how this next stage is funded, reviewed, and supported.

We also extend our thanks to the outgoing Term 6 Council for their service through the past year.

To the incoming Term 7 Council: congratulations, and welcome to the work ahead.
