BeL2-NBW: ERC-4337 Goes Live, PGA Integration Deepens, AA Wallet UX Upgraded
This week, the BeL2-NBW team delivered one of the most technically ambitious upgrades to date, formally launching ERC-4337 protocol into production, enabling users to pay gas in PGA tokens, and enhancing Account Abstraction (AA) wallet functionality in the Elastos Essentials wallet.
EE Wallet v3.2.6: Full Account Abstraction Support
- Fixed AA wallet transfer page errors
- Corrected gas fee sufficiency logic
- Optimized transaction pages and user prompts
- Released version 3.2.6, now submitted to both app stores
- This release completes the technical groundwork for AA-powered BTCFi across Elastos.
ERC-4337 Protocol Production Deployment
- In collaboration with the Pangu community, the BeL2 team:
- Deployed all ERC-4337 protocol services
- Completed AA wallet minting flows for BTCD (including Gold-Silver Bimetallic)
- Validated PGA token usage for gas payments
- Resolved bundler logic and real sender ID issues
- Elastos now supports programmable gas fee logic via smart accounts, a major unlock for abstracted user onboarding.
PGA Token Ecosystem Support
- Integrated PGA tokens into the BTCD + EE Wallet stack
- Updated contract addresses and wallet icons
- Optimized user flows and token display UX
- PGA becomes the first token used for ERC-4337 gas fees on Elastos, tying BTCD to the broader PGA economic layer.
Network Performance Optimization
- Developed network latency monitoring scripts
- Investigated and resolved API service lag issues
- Collected real-world telemetry to drive backend performance tuning
Elacity 4.0.0 Live on Mainnet: Tokenized Access at Full Power
After months of engineering, Elacity 4.0.0 has officially launched at ela.city — a full-stack overhaul of the creator platform with advanced media access control, decentralized licensing, and real-time royalties. Watch a walkthrough from founder Sash here.
Release Finalization
- Deployed smart contract upgrades (0.6.x → 0.7.2)
- Synced new backend architecture with CI/CD automation
- Upgraded Elacity Player to v0.6.0 with Lit-powered CEK fallback
- Merged frontend UI/UX and optimisations into main branch
- This release introduces the most comprehensive dDRM system in Web3.
Feature Highlights
- Royalty Explorer: Real-time earnings, withdrawals, and dashboards
- Cinema 2.0: DRM-enabled playback, transcoding workflows, tokenized gating
- MyContracts 2.0: Royalties, subscriptions, ownership & licensing in smart contracts
- Admin Panels: System diagnostics, error monitoring, session tools
- WASM Runtime: Local CEK decryption without API fallback
- Elacity’s stack now covers encoding, enforcement, economics, and experience—fully decentralized.
PuterOS Extension Refactor Nears Completion
- Refactor initiated after multi-month delay
- Unlocks:
- IPFS-based Elabox distribution
- Native playback in ElastOS (pc2)
- Trusted Compute booting of DRM-locked media
-
Engineering sync calls in progress to:
- Train engineers on pipeline
- Reduce future vendor bottlenecks
-
Once live, PuterOS will allow Elacity to deploy solutions directly into edge DePin environments through pc2.elastos.net, significantly leapfrogging the World Computer.
Elacity delivers the full DRM stack. Sasha Mitchell, resumed partner meetings across:
- PuterOS launch & extension co-dev
- Bonding curve and Launchpad architecture
- Decentralized infra and AI toolchains
- Licensing engine deployment into third-party ecosystems
- Elacity’s Web3 Access Economy is drawing growing interest from infrastructure, creator, and compute partners alike.
Looking Ahead
Priority | Target |
---|---|
BeL2-NBW | Scale user testing for PGA gas payments and AA flows |
Elacity | Launch bonding curve system, finalize Launchpad |
Infrastructure | Train devs on Puter pipeline, deploy media transcoding |
UX Polishing | Final round of post-4.0 UI refinements |
Governance | Prepare for usage incentives and token flow design |
This week marked a transformative convergence across the Elastos ecosystem:
- BeL2 deployed ERC-4337 into production with live PGA gas support and AA wallets operating across the BTCD protocol.
- Elacity released its long-awaited 4.0.0—ushering in a full dDRM + tokenized access economy stack, now playable across browser and soon Puter edge devices.
The World Computer is no longer theoretical. It’s running. It’s integrated. And it’s increasingly improving and ready for users.
