Elastos NBW Team — Weekly Ecosystem Report
Weekly Summary (Short Read)
This week, NBW delivered major progress on ecosystem security, BPoS governance infrastructure, and node incentive design.[1] The ESC blacklist mechanism is now fully implemented and deployed on TESTNET, delivering a comprehensive on-chain response framework for incidents like the Filda attack. In parallel, the BTCD protocol continued advancing toward greater decentralization via Oracle-backed governance infrastructure, improved data reliability, and clearly defined incentive mechanics.
Key Outcomes This Week
- ESC Blacklist Security — Complete: Full blacklist contract developed, tested, and deployed on TESTNET, including temporary locking, permanent locking, DAO voting unlock, and automatic confiscation of blacklisted withdrawals.
- BPoS Oracle Service — Deployment Testing: Oracle environment configured and verified for submitting BPoS and DAO node data on testnet.
- Node Incentives — Designed: Technical scheme finalized for automatic DPoS/BPoS node revenue distribution.
- Contract Performance — Validated: BPoS contract optimized and stress-tested up to the 200M gas limit to ensure scalability.
- Data Reliability — Improved: CoinGecko BTC price integration completed for more accurate collateral ratio calculations.
- 2026 Work Plan Formulation: Completed annual work plan discussions, roughly estimated sidechain upgrade and hashpower guarantee development timelines, clarifying the technical development roadmap.
Security & Incident Response
- ESC blacklist contract now supports:
- Temporary and permanent asset locking
- DAO committee VoteAdd / VoteRemove governance
- Automatic transfer of hacker withdrawals to DAO-controlled addresses
- DAO committee continuity across governance terms
- Keeper service updated to support cross-chain confiscation scenarios.
- Continued technical support and monitoring related to the Filda attack.
BPoS Governance & Infrastructure
- BPoS Oracle service deployed and tested for on-chain node information submission.
- PGP DPOS2.0 test environment configured for governance testing.
- Node data handling optimized for large-scale participation.
- Revenue auto-distribution scheme documented to align incentives with governance participation for voters and node owners.
Product & Wallet Improvements
- BTCD application fixed delayed UI refresh after staking operations.
- EE Wallet improved contract transaction display with clearer operation labeling.
- Third-party BTC price feeds integrated to improve collateralization accuracy.
Forward Direction
- ESC blacklist mechanism for mainnet deployment
- Continue BPoS Oracle service hardening and audit work
