Elacity Labs Joins the Red Hat Partner Program

Elacity Labs, a core contributor to ElastOS, was accepted into the Red Hat Partner Program before the release of ElastOS v2.0.0, its first stable version.

ElastOS v2.0.0 is open source under the MIT licence, giving organisations a stable version to install, test and evaluate. Program membership provides Elacity Labs with technical resources to support that work on Red Hat platforms.

What the program provides

Approved partners receive access to Red Hat’s training portal, demo platform and content centre. Training covers Red Hat Enterprise Linux, virtualisation and AI, helping the team prepare to test ElastOS in those environments. Further benefits depend on participation and eligibility.

Red Hat offers separate software validation and certification processes. These assess compatibility and support requirements, with certification covering security and lifecycle management as well. Membership does not automatically certify ElastOS.

What this means for ElastOS

ElastOS supports Linux and lets users run AI models on their own hardware. For an organisation considering deployment, installation is only part of the work. Supported configurations, updates, recovery and ongoing maintenance need testing and documentation.

The program’s resources could help Elacity Labs evaluate how the ElastOS Runtime behaves on Red Hat platforms. That includes how updates affect an existing installation and what an operator needs to restore service after a failure.

Local AI brings further questions: which hardware and models to support, who can access them, and how to maintain them over time. Red Hat’s Linux and AI training can help the team assess those requirements, but it does not replace testing on the systems an organisation intends to use.

Developers and prospective users can inspect the Runtime, test it on their own hardware and contribute through the ElastOS Runtime repository.

What’s next

Elacity Labs plans to begin Red Hat’s product validation process for ElastOS.

Teams running Red Hat platforms who would like to test ElastOS in their environment can contact Elacity Labs at elacitylabs.com.
